Every day, there are 31 new cases of cancer diagnosed in South Australia.
There are many different types of rare and less common cancers which can start in many different parts of the body and from different types of cells, including brain, small bowel, gall bladder and liver cancer. Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in adolescents and young adults.
Cancer Council SA has been supporting South Australians affected by cancer for over 90 years.
We are committed to supporting all South Australians impacted by cancer and are the only organisation that works across every aspect of cancer including cancer research, prevention, evidence-based information and support.
