I use to race with Peter from the late 70's into the 80's and really only spoke with Peter at the odd TDU event. But I remember Peter well and feel very sad at this point. And of course my condolences, to you all. I worked with Peter's brother Mark in Woollies back in those days too and of course remember Peter's dad in that Famous blue combie, Turning up to every race. In fact now, it is me taking my son, Samuel to running training and racing at Flinders Uni...and nearly every time I reflect on the blue combie and maybe I should get one and be like Peter's dad. And sit by with my cup of tea watching my son compete. Hope you don't mind me sharing that story, as it has stayed with me till this day. Once again very sad news. Peter will be on my mind alot now as it's my 55th birthday this Sunday. So I will get out and do a solo ride this Sunday, in his name and reflect on those racing days. Kindest Regards, Gary Plaice
