As a mother of three, Natasha wants to be there for all the highs and lows of watching her beautiful children grow up.
So when she was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC), a rare salivary gland cancer that only gets more likely to return with each passing year, Natasha became determined to defy the odds and be there for her children for all their milestones.
Because Natasha knows what it’s like to grow up without a mum. Natasha watched her mum face ovarian cancer through most of her childhood and tragically lost her when she was just nine years old.
“My biggest worry is my kids. I don’t want them to go through what I went through as a child with my mum having cancer.”
Natasha’s aim is to help raise $100,000 by 30 June to fund researchers like Dr Carly Whyte in her efforts to develop better treatments for rare head and neck cancers.
Help fund research and change lives through improved cancer treatments.
